About Center Stage:

For more than 31 years, Center Stage has offered the best dance training in Western North Carolina. Our faculty are professionally trained, with degrees from prestigious universities, and are certified to teach through Dance Masters of America.

Our students have attended North Carolina School of the Arts, North Carolina Governors School, North Carolina Dance Theatre, Miami City Ballet Summer Intensive, Houston Ballet Summer Intensive, San Fransico Conservatory Summer Intensive, Complexions Summer Intensive, PNB Summer Intensive, ABT Summer Intensive,Virginia School of the Arts, Atlanta Ballet, South Carolina Governor's School, NYCDA Summer Intensive, University of South Carolina Summer Intensive, the Joffery Ballet Summer Intensive, Oklahoma City University, Sweet Briar, UNC-Charlotte, and Florida State University.

We at Center Stage emphasize the individual so that each child can strive to perform at his or her highest level while maintaining a positive self-image. We believe that ballet is the foundation of all dance training and we encourage well-rounded traing in multiple genres such as jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, and acrobatics.
